PTFA

We are very fortunate at Wimbledon Park to have a vibrant PTFA that is a valued and integral part of the school community. Over the years, the PTFA has raised tens of thousands of pounds towards improving school equipment and resources.  Recent examples include replacing the hall sound and lighting systems, installing blackout blinds in every classroom, funding sets of iPads and wireless computing devices, and refurbishing the library.

The PTFA organise and run a number of events during each school year for the children and their families. These include a Christmas fair, summer fair, the LEGIT sponsored walk around Richmond Park, movie nights, quiz nights and several school discos. Details of all the events are published on the website, the PTFA Facebook page and distributed via class reps.

But our PTFA is about much more than fundraising. The PTFA exists to provide closer links between home and school, and is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together socially in support of a common goal. It’s fun too - just ask any of the PTFA committee members or helpers.

All parents and members of the school community are very welcome to get involved, even if you only have a small amount of time available, and all parents automatically become members of the association when their children join our school.

The PTFA can be contacted via email: wppsptfa@gmail.com

The PTFA is a registered charity No. 1144668
